Every year, the Amarillo Farm & Ranch Show draws huge crowds to check out the world's most modern, and largest, equipment. More than 30,000 people usually pass through the three-day show, which is held at the end of November and the beginning of December. But that piece of machinery you like may run more than $500,000!

The Amarillo Dusters are the newest sports franchise to hit town, and they dusted off all the competition to win the inaugural season of the Intense Football League. In 2005 they take a big step up, to the Arena 2 Football league, with franchises and competition from coast to coast. The season runs from April through July.
