The Amarillo Film Commission, a service of the Amarillo Convention and Visitor Council, provides assistance to production companies that have chosen, or are considering, the city for a project. Past projects include national and regional commercials, documentaries and feature shows, talk shows and feature films.

Our services include-

• A free production directory.
• Assistance in finding location companies/scouts.
• Assistance in contacting local, state and federal agencies.
• Assistance in working with private entities.
• Assistance in locating various services offered in the city.
• Assistance in obtaining permits where and when needed.
• Assistance in finding special services and personnel.

We do not have a location scout/photographer on staff. We cannot-

• Obtain signed contracts from private and government entities.
• Make monetary arrangements with private and government agencies.
• Assist in securing location.
• Perform any services that can be obtained from private businesses.
