City Bus Service

The Amarillo City Transit system runs busses along eight routes distributed across the city.

Service is provided Monday through Saturday between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. except for New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Please have exact change ready when boarding the bus. Drivers do not carry change. Fares are-
    Adults $0.75
    Children (age 6-12) $0.60
    Children under 6 are free with paying adult
    Student $0.60 (with ID card)
    Senior citizens of 65 and over $0.35 (with ID card)
