Route 66 Trolley Express
Route 66 Trolley Express- Amarillo’s stretch of Historic Route 66 is a mile of shops, restaurants and clubs along Sixth Ave. between Georgia and Western Sts. Now, it’s easy to get up and down the entire street thanks to the new Trolley Express. It operates on Saturday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. A $2 fare gets the rider unlimited on and off access for the day. The trolley also goes to downtown’s Polk St. For more information call 806-220-8866.
